Limited Edition
Belle Epoque with 2 flutes by Marcin Rusak
2016

“This is a majestic cuvée which maintains its style and philosophy as it ages.”
THE EYE
A lovely golden tint evoking a sunset.
THE NOSE
Primary aromas marked by a lovely floral freshness which evolves towards white fruit like poached pear, as well as citrus, with zest of lemon and orange.
THE PALATE
The opening is precise and full of freshness thanks to notes of lemon zest and to minerality.
When I visited Epernay, I discovered the slow, patient process of creating champagne, which requires painstaking care and precise techniques, much like my practice

Pinot Noir grapes from Mailly-Champagne in particular have an elegance and finesse that harmonise perfectly with our signature Chardonnay from Grand Cru terroirs in the Côte des Blancs. They therefore enhance, rather than overwhelm, the delicate floral structure of the wine.

Belle Epoque 2016 gift set by Marcín Rusak
The Belle Epoque Brut 2016 vintage cuvée is presented in an exclusive gift set created by Polish multidisciplinary artist and designer, Marcín Rusak. This limited edition set, decorated with a personal interpretation of the herbarium, evokes the complexity and harmony of the aromas and flavours of this outstanding cuvée while the silver-gold details are an elegant nod to this rich and delicate champagne.
Marcín Rusak has always drawn inspiration from nature, an approach that reflects Perrier-Jouët’s desire to question the complexity of the living world by inviting us to (re)discover the importance of the symbiosis between species. The House’s collaborations with various artists further illustrate and enrich its reflections, while also serving as a tribute to its founders, united by a shared passion for nature and the arts.
