This wine’s combination of richness and delicacy reminds me of the texture of a ranunculus – preferably a beautiful pale pink one, similar in colour to Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Rosé.

Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Rosé 2014

Expressing Perrier-Jouët’s expertise in crafting vintage champagnes, Belle Epoque Rosé 2014 is made exclusively from wines from the 2014 vintage. It is a rare champagne, produced in very limited quantities.
The weather conditions in the Champagne region in 2014 were truly exceptional, marked by a mild, wet winter and a dry, sunny spring, giving way to a contrasted summer characterised by heavy rainfall. Ideal conditions then ensued in September, propitious to harvesting high-quality grapes at optimum ripeness.
The resulting still wines were powerful and complex, revealing delicate fruity notes, while their perfect balance between sugar and acidity suggested excellent ageing potential.
After meticulous blending by Perrier-Jouët’s Cellar Master and at least 6 years’ ageing on the lees in the House’s cellar, the Belle Epoque Rosé 2014 is the epitome of elegance and complexity.
