The Essence of Chardonnay
The Blanc de Blancs cuvées are a vibrant tribute to Chardonnay, the House’s signature grape variety. Two complementary expressions that reveal the floral elegance and complexity at the heart of the Perrier-Jouët style.
Perrier-Jouët Blanc de Blancs is a free spirit – vibrant, dynamic, independent. Bright and fresh as the morning dew, it is the perfect champagne to serve as an aperitif, to celebrate the first day of spring.

What is a Blanc de Blancs champagne ?
Blanc de Blancs champagne is a single varietal wine, meaning that it is made solely from Chardonnay, a white grape with colourless juice – in other words, a white champagne made from white grapes to which it owes its name.
At Perrier-Jouët, the tradition of pressing and blending only Chardonnay dates back to the 1920s, well before these champagnes were officially called “Blanc de Blancs” and their production became strictly regulated by the appellation. Highly sought-after for its freshness and finesse, Chardonnay remains the House’s signature grape variety.

Belle Epoque Blanc de Blancs
Belle Epoque Blanc de Blancs is a vintage cuvée, meaning that it is made from grapes picked in a single year when all the conditions are perfectly met. It consists of a maximum of five Grands Crus, all of which are from the Côte des Blancs: Cramant, Avize and Chouilly, the House’s three pillars, and in some years, Oger and Vertus. The ageing of this outstanding cuvée is extended to eight years to give it the time required to unveil its delicate and complex aromas.
