The structure of this cuvée recalls the grace of the Carnation, an emblematic motif of Art Nouveau. Its notes evoke the delicacy of this flower.
—Séverine Frerson,
Maison Perrier-Jouët Cellar Master
Pinot Noir grapes from Mailly-Champagne in particular have an elegance and finesse that harmonise perfectly with our signature Chardonnay from Grand Cru terroirs in the Côte des Blancs. They therefore enhance, rather than overwhelm, the delicate floral structure of the wine.

Belle Epoque Brut 2016

Made from grapes harvested in a single year, Belle Epoque Brut 2016 is a wonderfully complex and rare wine. It displays a golden colour and fresh, floral flavours underpinned by a delicate, silky texture.
The Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque vintage cuvées are only produced during years when the weather conditions are close to perfection. In 2016, the hot, dry summer in the Champagne region led to optimal ripening, with the grape bunches displaying a perfect balance between sugar and acidity.
Their power and elegance offered the ideal characteristics to produce excellent ageing potential, resulting in the creation of a vintage champagne – Belle Epoque Brut 2016.
After spending more than the required minimum of 6 years’ ageing in the house’s cellars, this outstanding cuvée is finally ready to be tasted. Line-caught sea bass and lobster with citrus are the partners of choice for this delicate champagne.
