Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque 1988 is a cuvée originating from the most famous crus in Champagne, during a year in which nature offered a harvest of rare quality that allowed Maison Perrier-Jouët to develop a complex wine with an assertive personality.
Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque 1989 is best enjoyed at a temperature of 10 degrees as an aperitif and at 12 degrees during a meal. Just as a long period of ageing has allowed this champagne to develop all of its aromas, additional time is required to fully appreciate it.
Time favours great wines and Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque 1990 is a perfect illustration of this. After thirty years spent resting in the House’s cellars in Epernay, this cuvée fully releases its aromatic richness.
Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque 1999 combines all the qualities expected from a great wine. This wine has benefited from ageing over 20 years in the House’s cellars in Epernay to fully reveal its extravagance and indulgence.
Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque is an icon of the House, the original Belle Epoque cuvée to appear adorned with the legendary spray of Japanese white anemones created by Emile Gallé in 1902. Produced only in years when, in the judgment of Cellar Master Hervé Deschamps, the seasons have aligned perfectly, it is a captivating demonstration, not only of the art of blending, but also of the exceptional quality of the Perrier-Jouët vineyard. Testifying to the rarity of this cuvée, less than 30 vintages of Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque have been produced to date.
Champagne Perrier-Jouët has released the latest vintage of the House’s acclaimed prestige cuvée, Belle Epoque 2007. Described by Cellar Master Hervé Deschamps as ‘a crystalline vintage whose subtlety and generosity highlight the precision of the Perrier-Jouët style,’ the 2007 is set to be one of the most sought after vintages of the Belle Epoque cuvée in the last 20 years. The crystalline characteristics are displayed through the lightness and luminosity of the wine and its delicate freshness and elegance.
