BELLE ÉPOQUE BRUT

Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque 1989 is best enjoyed at a temperature of 10 degrees as an aperitif and at 12 degrees during a meal. Just as a long period of ageing has allowed this champagne to develop all of its aromas, additional time is required to fully appreciate it.

Behind a golden colour with beautiful intensity hides a wine with character.
The nose
A generous range of aromas: honey, candied citrus fruits and brioche.

Opens up with finesse, balance and a delicious, almost velvety texture.
In the silence and half-light of its legendary Eden cellar, the House watches over a remarkable heritage with the utmost care. Here, it seems as if time stands still. The oldest champagne vintages in the world can be found in this cellar, waiting to release their extraordinary aromatic richness.

The Vintage

After a mild winter, 1989 experienced a spring marked by severe frost as well as alternating heat and rain. The summer was hot and sunny and the weather remained very favourable until the harvest.

Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque 1989 is a floral cuvée that surprises with the depth of its aromatic profile and assertive structure. It is a wine that gradually shows the different facets of its personality, until it fully reveals itself, in all its richness and power.
