PJTOAP

It can be difficult to describe the transcendent feeling of a meal that is expertly paired with libations and shared with friends or family. Pairing wine with food is by no means a new concept, but it is an art form that continues to evolve as culinary experts pour their creativity into restaurant concepts and build teams of hospitality professionals. There was a time when the chef had to play all roles…cook, sommelier, waiter, trainer, book keeper, but there is an air of prestige that is recognized in the industry universally now, which has allowed for specialized roles to be broadened and even celebrated. For the guest, this cultivates an environment that can be truly magical, and hopefully leaves them inspired to continue their journey of gastronomic discovery and hospitality in their own home.

A Historic Moment For Maison Perrier-jouët

The transmission from one cellar master to the next is a key event for any champagne house. But for Maison Perrier-Jouët, which has had just seven cellar masters in over 200 years, it is truly a historic moment. In October 2020, Séverine Frerson will become the eighth – and the first female – to hold the cellar master position in the history of the House, which was famously founded from the union of Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Rose-Adélaïde Jouët in 1811.

At Home with Andrea Mancuso

As the world went into lockdown in spring 2020 following the Coronavirus pandemic, Maison Perrier-Jouët’s Artisans of the Wild opened a virtual portal into their homes to share how they kept creative throughout quarantine with the At Home With series. Forming a dialogue from London to Paris, Milan to Mexico, each Artisan showed how they found inspiration at home to keep up their respective practice – ranging from dance to design – and how their communities came together to support key workers as well as each other.

Council of Fashion Designers of America CFDA and Perrier-Jouët

On the first Monday of June, the most notable names in the fashion industry came together at the Brooklyn Museum for the 2019 CFDA Fashion Awards… also known as The Oscar’s of Fashion.

The prestigious event was nothing short of spectacular, and as the Official Champagne partner, Perrier-Jouët featured throughout. From the exclusive bar on the terrace, to the bespoke Champagne flutes created in collaboration with internationally renowned Fashion Designer- Prabal Gurung. Good friend of the house Winnie Harlow joined us to toast the occasion.

Perrier-Jouët Vineyard

In these trying, uncertain times, we know that safety measures must be taken seriously. To ensure the well-being of the Maison Perrier-Jouët team, we have paused activity on all of our sites, with the exception of our vineyards. Thanks to a small number of extremely vigilant experts, we will be able to continue to nurture nature with the same care as we have done for over 200 years.

We want to encourage and congratulate everyone doing whatever they can to help. Now, more than ever, we must take care of one another, remember the things that truly matter, stay positive and –  above all – stay safe.

Metamorphosis installation

Maison Perrier-Jouët renews the dialogue between nature, champagne and design with Metamorphosis: a collection of six glasses and a champagne bowl by Italian designer Andrea Mancuso, of Analogia Project. It will be on display in a singular setting throughout Design Miami/ 2019. This collaboration is infused with Maison Perrier-Jouët’s vision of reinvented nature. It forms part of an artistic tasting ritual, exploring the metamorphoses of nature and the way the House transforms grapes into champagne using over 200 years of savoir-faire.
