THE EMBLEMATIC FLORAL MOTIF
Inspired by the graceful, sinuous forms of nature, Art Nouveau bloomed across Europe in the late-19th century. The movement's exuberance and creative freedom paved the way for 20th-century avant-garde art. The ethos of Art Nouveau was to reinvent nature to re-enchant the everyday. In 1902 Art Nouveau Artist Emile Gallé was invited to Maison Belle Epoque. Enchanted by the rich gardens, he designed the iconic anemone that has since become the iconic symbol of Perrier-Jouët.
THE ART OF PLATING
In the spirit of the holiday season, Perrier-Jouët is proud to be partnering with The Art of Plating for a special collection of masterclasses focusing on creating enchanting experiences inside your home. Champagne Week 2020 will celebrate the diverse talent represented in the culinary, wine, and design worlds, who will welcome viewers into their homes as they share creations inspired by the portfolio of Perrier-Jouët Champagnes.
FLORAL · VIVACIOUS
Perrier-Jouët Blanc de Blancs is a vibrant, spontaneous champagne brimming with crisp citrus and fresh floral notes. It is a homage to Maison Perrier-Jouët’s emblematic Chardonnay grape, which it interprets in a style unique.
A TIMELESS EXPRESSION OF CHARDONNAY
After creating vintage Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Blanc de Blancs, Cellar Master Hervé Deschamps naturally wished to complete the classic collection with a single-grape cuvée destined to become the enduring expression of the House’s specialist savoir-faire. Indeed, with Perrier-Jouët Blanc de Blancs, Maison PerrierJouët was perpetuating a tradition dating back to the early 20th century – the House introduced its first all Chardonnay cuvées in the 1920s, long before such champagnes became known as “Blancs de Blancs”.
To craft Perrier-Jouët Blanc de Blancs, Hervé Deschamps blends Chardonnay grapes selected from several of the region’s finest terroirs with a small proportion of reserve wines to ensure absolute consistency of style and quality. After three years’ ageing on the lees in the PerrierJouët cellars, the cuvée is ready to be released, overflowing with freshness and vitality.
