PERRIER-JOUËT COLLECTION BY CLAIRE COLES
With her motifs inspired by nature and made-to-measure embroidery,
Claire Coles offers her own interpretation of Art Nouveau, with works infused
with a hint of Haute Couture design: resolutely Perrier-Jouët.
A combination of glamour and liberty, charm and sophistication, the union of beauty and utility...
The Art Nouveau philosophy is one to which the House of Perrier-Jouët has been faithful since its origins. It is engraved on the bottles of the Belle Epoque cuvée, represented by a spray of Japanese anemones, designed in 1902 by Émile Gallé, a master glassmaker and a key figure in the Art Nouveau movement.
The House collaborated up with Claire Coles to create an extravagant collection in the image of each of its wines: a delicate floral theme for the Belle Epoque cuvée, a "House style" theme for the Grand Brut and "extravagant femininity" for Blason Rosé.
The collection contains two limited editions of cocktail bags for the Grand Brut and Blason Rosé cuvées. A cooler bag of delicately decorated satin, the cocktail bag is the must-have accessory for carrying your bottle of champagne and keeping it chilled until the moment of tasting. The collection also includes a new Grand Brut presentation box, a Deluxe Belle Epoque edition with its prestigious House cuvée and two flutes graced with iconic anemones.
Claire Coles graduated from Middlesex University in 2003. She has designed for Penguin Publishing and the West London Showroom. All her creations are hand-made in her workshop. "Inspired by the artist heritage of the House of Perrier-Jouët and by the great variety of aromas of the wines, I created a theme for each champagne."
