PERRIER-JOUËT HOUSE INITIATES A CREATIVE COLLABORATION WITH JAPANESE ARTIST RITSUE MISHIMA
Every year during Design Miami, the international fair for collectible design, Perrier-Jouët reaffirms its historic links with the world of art and the field of design.
In December, for the 2015 event, Perrier-Jouët will unveil two unprecedented works by Japanese artist Ritsue Mishima with whom it has initiated a new creative collaboration. A huge installation along with an original piece will mark the beginning of a creative partnership that will continue until the end of 2016.The Design Miami installation, All’ombra della luce, is a truly immersive experience in which light and shadow are the two protagonists.
A second creation – a large hand-blown glass bowl – is dedicated to the ritual of serving champagne. Finally, a limited edition gift pack will be revealed towards the end of the year. Each of these creations illustrates Perrier-Jouët’s philosophy of champagne: artistic craftsmanship enriched with authenticity, elegance and a genuine fondness for nature and its delights.
