The artist
MAKIKO TAKEHARA
Makiko Takehara, above, is a renowned photographer originating from Kagawa in Japan. She graduated from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, in 2002. The same year she was selected for the PDN Photography Annual. Since then, Makiko has contributed to magazines including Los Angeles Times magazine, Bloom, Berliner and Icon. Makiko now lives and works in Paris.
